Billing FAQs

Subscription Information

Q: How much does Turnie Premium cost?

A: Turnie Premium is available for $2 USD per month. This gives you access to all premium features including notes, checklists, and advanced collaboration tools.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We process payments through:

  • Google Play Store (Android users)

  • Apple App Store (iOS users)

All major credit/debit cards accepted through these platforms.

Q: How often am I billed?

A: Premium subscriptions are billed monthly on the same date you initially subscribed. For example, if you subscribe on January 15th, you'll be billed on the 15th of each month.

Premium Features

Q: What's included in Premium?

A: Premium subscription includes:

  • Notes and checklists

  • Collaboration and sharing capabilities

  • Virtual postcards from completed trips

New Premium features will continue to be released. Refer to our Product Roadmap for insights on potential upcoming features.

Q: What features are available in the free version?

A: Free features include:

  • Basic trip creation

  • Place saving

  • Collections

  • Map view

Managing Your Subscription

Q: How do I upgrade to Premium?

A: To upgrade:

  1. Open Turnie app

  2. Go to Profile/Settings

  3. Tap "Upgrade to Premium"

  4. Follow payment prompts in your device's app store

Q: How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

A: To cancel:

For Android Users:

  1. Open Google Play Store

  2. Go to Subscriptions

  3. Find Turnie

  4. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

For iOS Users (coming soon):

  1. Open Settings

  2. Tap your Apple ID

  3. Tap Subscriptions

  4. Find Turnie

  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

Q: What happens when I cancel?

A: After cancellation:

  • You'll maintain Premium access until the end of your current billing period

  • No additional charges will occur

  • Your account will revert to free features when the subscription ends

  • Your data remains saved but Premium features will be inaccessible

Account Changes

Q: What happens to my Premium features if I change devices?

A: Your Premium subscription transfers with your account when you:

  1. Sign in on your new device

  2. Use the same Google/Apple account

  3. Download Turnie from the same app store

Q: Can I share my Premium subscription?

A: Premium subscriptions are linked to individual accounts and cannot be shared. Each user needs their own subscription for Premium features.

Important Note: We do not recommend sharing a single account across multiple devices simultaneously (i.e., multiple people using the same account) as this can cause unexpected behavior with your content. For multiple users, we highly suggest utilizing our collaboration capabilities to avoid these issues.

Q: What happens to my data if I cancel Premium?

A: After cancellation:

  • All your data remains saved

  • Premium features become inaccessible

  • You can still access and edit basic features

  • Upgrade again anytime to regain Premium access

Currency & International Users

Q: In which currency am I charged?

A: Charges are processed in USD but may be converted to your local currency by your app store or payment provider.

Q: Is Premium available in all countries?

A: Initially, Turnie will only be available in the US Google Play and Apple App stores. We will continue to roll out to additional markets as the application matures and meets the publishing requirements of those regions. However, the Turnie service itself can be accessed and used anywhere in the world once you have downloaded the app.

Disclaimer: Turnie cloud infrastructure resides within the U.S., therefore, as long as those other countries are able to access U.S. services without any issues, the Turnie service will be accessible. Some governments strictly control internet access outside of their country, therefore, we cannot guarantee 100% service availability as these situations are outside of our control.

If you are unsure of a particular country or region and it's internet access capabilities, leveraging internet communities (including our own Turnie community) are a good way to get some additional feedback prior to travelling.

  • Include your account email and transaction details

Note: Depending on the type of billing issue, we may need to refer you back to your app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) as many billing capabilities are managed directly by these platforms. The Turnie team has limited access to these functions.

Q: Where can I find my billing history?

A: Access your billing history through:

  • Google Play Store (Android)

  • Apple App Store (iOS)
